I can’t believe it but I actually hit 1,000 likes! When I first started this blog almost 4 years ago, I never thought it would last as long as it has. What’s even harder to believe is that it’s been almost 4 years!

I just want to thank all my followers who’ve stuck around all these years. I was never very consistent with my posts, and maybe I would have hit 1,000 a lot sooner if I kept it up, but the fact that people have read my work all over the world is truly humbling.

I see also want to give my regulars a shout out and let them know that I see them liking every single post I publish. My blog has never generated a ton of comments, but if you ever feel like just saying hi, please don’t hesitate!

My blog has changed tremendously over the years, and looking back, I have too. I remember when I started, my About Me page was all about wanting to get into the Queens College MFA program and getting a writing job. It’s nice to say I’ve accomplished both goals; I definitely couldn’t have done it without you.

All that’s left for me is to actually get something published. I’ve been submitting to places and I’m hoping to hear back soon. I came very close with one piece that was a chapbook submission, so I know I have a pretty good chance as long as I keep revising.

Last thing! I want to read and publish your stories! Now that I’m out of school, and no longer a part of weekly workshops, I’m itching to look at other people’s work. I can give advice, promote your story, or simply be the first person to ever publish your work!

Thanks again everyone. Tomorrow’s my birthday so I’ll most likely be busy, but if I find some time to write up a story, I’ll post it.
