Heartbreak

This is not the story I was talking about breaking the erasures up with. I wrote a one-sentence story on Twitter and I liked how it came out so I figured I’d share it here. I’m going to try to expand it into something a little bigger at some point.

Heartbreak

She saw the shoebox underneath our bed and assumed I was cheating; my wife would’ve wanted me to move on, but I wasn’t ready to admit she was gone.

Reminder: If you have a story you’d like to submit, or you’re interested in writing a one-sentence, check out my submission guidelines or simply leave a comment since this is such a short request.
